Updated BIBUS Spain information on Coronavirus - 24 March

Dear customer,

We are writing to keep you informed of the current situation and the consequences that may affect the supply chain.
 
As you know, the impact of COVID-19 on a global level is causing exceptional situations in many countries. In order to guarantee the health of people and following the directives of the Italian government for the containment of the new Coronavirus, our suppliers based in Italy will be closed in the next weeks, in first instance until April 3^rd. These measures affect the following partners: 

• Danfoss Power Solutions Italy (formerly Comatrol and Turolla)
• Duplomatic
• FIM Valvole
• Fluimac
• Ivaco
• MATRIX
• Vuototecnica

To date, the rest of our main suppliers continue to produce and supply the products ordered within the confirmed deadlines. However, we have to take into account the logistical problems that may arise from the current situation. Air and sea freight capacity in general is becoming more challenging as more and more countries close their borders or apply stricter customs control. These new procedures are causing delays in production times with a particular impact on the following countries: Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.
